Mona Hatoum è l’artista scelta per rappresentare la XIII edizione della Biennale Donna, incentrata sui temi del nomadismo culturale e dell’identità migrante. La Biennale è organizzata dall’UDI-Unione Donne in Italia di Ferrara in collaborazione con le Gallerie d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea del Comune di Ferrara.

March 6-June 1, 2008
The Whitney Biennial 2008 opens today and runs through June 1. For the first time the Biennial will extend beyond the Museum to Park Avenue Armory (at 67th Street) with installations and performances daily through March 23. A full schedule of events is available at whitney.org/biennialFeaturing 81 visionary artists, with works ranging from a dance marathon to a man-made animal habitat in the Museum’s sculpture court, the 2008 Biennial shows where American art stands today.
